📸 AI Image Scanner - 1 June 2026
Snap a photo of a meal and let the app estimate it for you. Instead of searching or typing, take a picture and the Food Diary estimates the meal's calories and macros automatically.
How to use it
In your Food Diary, tap the camera icon button, then choose Picture.
Take a photo of your meal, or pick one from your gallery.
The app analyses the photo and shows an estimate — a food name with calories and macros, marked as AI-generated, with a confidence indicator.
If the estimate is inaccurate, change its title and the app reassesses the estimate based on the new title.
Confirm to log it to your diary.
Good to know
The estimate is an approximation and a starting point — adjust it before saving whenever it looks off.
You get one estimate for the whole dish, not a separate breakdown per ingredient.
It works from a photo only.
For packaged products, use the barcode or Nutrition Label Scanner (below) instead — the photo scanner is built for plated, whole-food meals.
💬 Rate a recipe with a comment - 19 May 2026
Tell your coach what you thought. When you rate a recipe, you can now add a comment explaining what you did or didn't like — your coach sees it alongside the rating and can tailor future meal plans.
How to use it: After trying a recipe, open the Rate recipe screen, give your rating, add an optional comment, and save.
🔎 Smarter, typo-tolerant search - February 2026
Misspelled it? No problem. Food search now handles typos and missing accents — search "chiken" and you'll still find "Chicken breast", with the closest matches ranked first. And when there are only a few verified foods for your region, search now also shows global results so you can still find a match. (Applies to food/ingredient search; recipe search still needs closer spelling.)
🥗 Edit recipe ingredients when tracking - 19 February 2026
Make a recipe match what you actually ate. Before logging a coach or library recipe, you can change or remove its ingredients.
How to use it
Open a coach or library recipe to track it.
Edit or remove ingredients as needed.
Log it.
🔢 Quick Add: by serving or per 100 g - 10 February 2026
Enter values the way they appear on packaging. Quick Add lets you enter nutrition by serving or per 100 g plus the amount you ate, and does the math for you — no need to calculate the macros of your exact portion.
✏️ Edit your own recipes - 10 February 2026
Change a recipe instead of recreating it. You can now edit recipes you've created.
🏷️ Nutrition Label Scanner - 27 January 2026
Scan a packaged product's label. Point your camera at a nutrition-facts label and the app reads its calories and macros, pre-filling an entry for you to confirm — no typing.
How to use it
In your Food Diary, tap the camera icon button.
Take a picture of the product's nutrition-facts table.
The app reads the values and opens a pre-filled Quick add.
Confirm or adjust, and log it.
