The Lenus planner is a hybrid between a calendar and to-do list. You can add tasks you are planning to do at a specific time, get reminders, and keep track of your activities.
Types of tasks in the planner
You can create three different types of tasks: Meal, Activity and Custom tasks. This gives you a better overview and knowledge about what type of tasks are planned and executed. It also enables you to connect the planner to other parts of the app.
Meal tasks
A meal task can be, for example, a personal note or a specific meal added from a meal plan, recipe book or favorites.
Activities:
This task is either one of the activities from the activity lists (e.g. running, cycling, etc.) or a specific workout session.
Custom:
This can be anything the client would like it to be. However, this type of task is not directly attached to other parts of the app.
Some examples of what it could be used for:
Sunday reminder: "Plan next week's activities and meals"
Friday reminder: "Food prepping for the weekend"
Set reminder in 3 weeks: "Evaluate the new step goal"
Creating a task
You can create tasks from four different places:
The plus in the overview screen
The plus inside the planner
From a workout session - adding that specific session to the planner
From a meal view - adding that specific meal to the planner
When creating a task, the default settings will schedule the task for 'today', with a duration of 15 minutes and a reminder notification to be sent 5 minutes before. You are able to edit all of these default settings.
Completing a task
You can complete a task in the planner by:
Checking the task from the top of the overview screen
Checking the task from the planner view
Completing the task inside a task
Logging and tracking a similar activity or session
When completing an activity task from the planner, you will be asked to log the activity to keep your data up to date. Additionally, if you log or track a workout or an activity of the same type planned the same day, it will automatically be completed in the planner.
To help you stick to the plan and give you the satisfaction of completing a task and sticking to their plan, we send push notifications to remind you.
